What is the Providencia Booster Club and why do we need to raise money?
The Providencia Booster Club, an affiliate of Burbank Schools Booster Association, is a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization that raises money to support underfunded important school programs such as music and dance for TK through 5th grade, the Accelerated Reader program, Outdoor Science School, school wide events, classroom supplies, and much more. Some of our fundraising events include coin drives, catalog sales, restaurant nights, popsicle sales, Jog-a-thon, and Harvest Festival. We would like to avoid catalog sales where only a portion of sales goes to the school and focus on a direct drive where we would earn a 100% profit from your generous donations– which are tax deductible!
How Much Can I Donate?
Any amount, no matter how big or small, is gladly accepted. As a general guideline, we suggest a donation of $70/student in TK through 5th grade.
Does your company offer a matching donation program? Please consider this a great place to take advantage of that incredible bonus!
Would you normally ask family and friends to buy something from a catalog? Ask them if they would like to make a tax deductible donation instead!
The more money that is raised during this Booster direct drive– the quicker we will reach our fundraising goal. We can reduce some other Booster fundraising events if we are able to raise the money this way and ensure funding for important school programs.
No donation is too big or too small!

The Booster Club exists and operates independently for Providencia Elementary School. Our Booster Club supports things such as Outdoor Science School (OSS), our comprehensive TK-5th Music Program, our new TK-5th dance program, as well as many other family and community based sponsored activities that benefit the entire student body:
- Accelerated reader (AR)
- Classroom support
- Muffins with Mom
- Donuts with Dad
- 5th grade dance and softball game
- Spaghetti Dinner
- Harvest Festival
Meetings are held every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:00PM in the Community Room, and childcare is provided at no charge. Attending our meetings provides parents and family members the opportunity to become involved, meet other parents, and share ideas that will help our school continue to thrive for years to come. Research shows that students excel in school when their parents are involved. We encourage you to volunteer and get involved in our school!
